Whether you want to join an auxiliary group, volunteer for a committee, or attend local community events, there is a place for your family to connect in Plainview, NY.
Synagogue Committees

Our Synagogue Committees shape our congregation by planning programs, managing education, and driving community outreach. We always welcome new volunteers to share their unique talents and time.
MHJC Sisterhood
Our vibrant Sisterhood auxiliary organization brings the women of our Long Island Jewish community together. We host social events, coordinate adult learning, and provide vital support to our temple.
MHJC Men’s Club
The MHJC Men’s Club offers social, educational, and spiritual services tailored for the men of our congregation. Join us for fellowship, recreation, and meaningful personal growth.
Welcoming Interfaith Families At Manetto Hill Jewish Center, Interfaith Families and Jews by choice are integral members of our egalitarian synagogue family. We offer inclusive ritual practices that allow everyone to fully participate in synagogue life.
Community Bereavement Support Group
We host a weekly Bereavement Group on Mondays at 2:30 PM. This safe, supportive environment is completely open to the entire Plainview community—synagogue membership is not required to attend.
