Manetto Hill Jewish Center

Small enough to know you. Large enough to serve you.

Religious Services

Religious Services at Manetto Hill Jewish Center are warm, egalitarian and communal. Services are performed in Hebrew and English.  Our services are conducted by Rabbi Neil.  Members of our congregation also take an  active part in running the service.

Congregation participation, inspiring sermons from Rabbi Neil, stimulating guest speakers and conversation and the warmth and spirit of Jewish togetherness are the hallmarks of every Shabbat.

Friday Night, Saturday Shabbat Morning and Weekday Services

Unless otherwise noted on our calendar, the following are times for our services:

  • Friday evening Shabbat services begin at 7:30 p.m.
    • If we are having a special Shabbat, such as Family Shabbat or themed Shabbat, times may vary.  Please check the calendar if there are any differences in start times.
  • Saturday Shabbat morning services begin at 10:00 a.m.
    • If there is a reason to start at a different time, the start time will be on our calendar.
  • Our evening Minyan is held via Zoom at 8:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday

Friday evening services incorporate both Hebrew and English. Our Saturday morning services are recited mostly in Hebrew and transliteration booklets are available. Both services are fully egalitarian.

If you have never been to a Saturday Shabbat Service, click here to read an article from My Jewish Learning explaining what you can expect on Saturday morning.

Junior Congregation is held once a month on Shabbat (Saturday) morning at 10:00 a.m.

Currently, many of our services are being streamed through Zoom.  If you wish to join us and require the link, please contact us.
