Egalitarian and Conservative Shabbat & Daily Minyan Services | Plainview, NY

Warm, Egalitarian, and Communal Worship

At Manetto Hill Jewish Center, our Conservative Jewish services are warm, egalitarian, and deeply communal. Led by Rabbi Neil Schuman, our worship integrates both Hebrew and English, allowing for active congregation participation. Every Shabbat in Plainview features inspiring sermons, stimulating guest speakers, and the authentic warmth of Jewish togetherness.

Weekly Shabbat & Weekday Service Schedule

We welcome members and guests to join our community for worship. Please check our synagogue calendar for holiday timing or special themed events.

  • Friday Night Shabbat Services: 7:30 p.m. (Times may vary for Family Shabbat)
  • Saturday Morning Shabbat Services: 10:00 a.m.
  • Weekday Evening Minyan (Zoom): 8:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday.

What to Expect at Our Services

  • Friday evening services blend Hebrew prayers with English readings. Our Saturday morning liturgy is recited mostly in Hebrew, with transliteration booklets readily available to help everyone follow along. Both services are fully egalitarian, meaning men and women participate equally in all aspects of worship.
  • If you are new to traditional worship, you can read this guide to Saturday Shabbat services to learn what to expect during a morning service

Youth & Family Services

  • To engage the next generation, our Junior Congregation meets once a month on Saturday mornings at 10:00 a.m., offering a fun, interactive prayer experience for children.

Join Our Services Online via Zoom

  • We stream many of our weekly services online. If you would like to join our virtual community, please contact the MHJC office for the Zoom link.
