Manetto Hill Jewish Center Stands with Israel

The past forty-eight hours of unimaginable terror and loss of life that Israel has suffered has shocked us to the core. We mourn the loss of all who have lost their lives at the hands of Hamas and pray for the wounded as well as the safe return of those held hostage. Our hearts, thoughts and prayers are with Israel and the Israeli Defense Forces. We will continue to stand with Israel and do what we can during this horrific time.

Israel needs both our outspoken support as well as monetary support as they fight Hamas and the other terrorist groups bent on Israel’s destruction. There are some ways in which we can help.

AFMDA (American Friends of Morgan David Adom) – Magen David Adom is Israel’s national paramedic and Red Cross service. Donations help outfit ambulances with lifesaving equipment and wound-stanching dressing; support MDA’s blood services and provide more personal-protection equipment, such as ballistic vests, to make EMTs and paramedics as safe as possible

Friends of the Israeli Defense Force – Friends of the IDF is the sole organization authorized to collect charitable donations on behalf of the soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces across the United States of America.

United Hatzalah – Using specially equipped motorcycle ambulances, United Hatzalah’s network of more than 6,500 volunteer medics help save thousands of lives each year across Israel by providing medical treatment in an average response time of 3 minutes or less.

United Hatzalah is launching an emergency appeal to raise funds for desperately needed supplies to provide their volunteers with the equipment they need to save lives and the protective equipment to keep themselves safe. The goal of the campaign is to raise $20 million to equip an additional 1,000 United Hatzalah volunteers with protective vests and helmets, oxygen tanks, defibrillators, trauma bandages, and tourniquets.
